How to Bypass Proofpoint "Relay Access Denied" on external forwards

If you are using Proofpoint as your email security service, you may encounter that the platform doesn't allow Auto-Forwarding received emails from external senders - to your organization - to an external recipient. 

For example: if you have a support address forwarded to a ticketing software like Zohodesk or Zendesk you will need to enable this rules.

Proofpoint is a closed relay system, which means it doesn't allow automatic forwarding of emails to external recipients.

To bypass this issue you need to create 1 Rule and 1 Connector on the Exchange Admin Center of the affected domain.
