How to install RingCentral App VDI Universal Plugin on your physical desktop
RingCentral, a telecommunications provider, offers a plugin to solve delays when speaking to customers while using the desktop app hosted in a virtual environment like Azure.
To avoid latency when talking to your customers please follow the steps below.
1- Download the RingCentral App VDI Universal Plugin from the link below.
2- Go to the folder where the software was downloaded and double-click on the icon to install the app. You need to be an Administrator user or a privileged account on the physical machine.
3- Press Next and follow the steps to finish the installation.
4- Access your Azure Virtual Desktop Environment, open the RingCentral Desktop App, select Settings on the left, and check the Advanced Tab. Make sure Optimize media quality for Azure toggle is ON.
5- When you make a call, you’ll know Azure is optimizing your audio when the
